About Me
My name is Dina Kartika Febriyanti. As my name suggests, I was born in February—the first of February 2001, to be exact. I grew up in Malang, a city in the eastern part of Java, Indonesia. My parents raised me with a lot of love and attention as I am their only child. I have begun to show interest in art since before I enrolled to any school. I drew a lot on our walls with crayons. I liked watching cartoons and would try to draw the characters. From there, my parents signed me up to an art class when I was in the kindergarten, and from there my love from art just keep growing.I went to Sabilillah Islamic Elementary School, before then continuing to State Junior Highschool 3 in Malang. After graduating on time in three years, I continued to State Senior Highschool 5 Malang and from there, I got the opportunity to enroll in Sampoerna University with full scholarship. Leaving my hometown was hard, but I met a lot of people that helps me settle and adapt to the new environment in Jakarta. I always knew I wanted to take visual design as a major since I love doing art and designing stuff since I was just a kid. Being a Visual Communication Design major at Sampoerna University gives me a lot of opportunities to learn and develop my talents and interests. It is a big stepping stone for me to reach my dream of becoming a professional illustrator.
